AFTERMATH BY HENRY W. LONGFELLOW
I think this poem simply means that everything that takes place, their is a change. Just like the plot they used in the poem about Fall. When the leaves fall and the snow comes in the trees grow more leaves after winter ends. I think the diction of the poem kind of threw me off a bit.
