Wow thanksgiving was wonderful. At first i wasnt all that excited about it becaue i dont be aroung alot of my family members, just mostly the people in my household. Holidays for me are getting boring, i guess because im getting older and my parents are not all into the holidays like that. When i have children its going to be different, because we will value family and holidays. The best thing about thanksgiving is being with your family and letting them know everything that your thankful for, the second best thing is the food. Plenty of food, and desert. Especially, when your eating from the table of someone who can really cook. I guess it's alot of things that i am thankful for......
Im thankful for being alive, and that god is keeping me around.
Im thankful for my family, and my friends
Im thankful for being able to get around place to place in a car and not having to walk, catch bus
Im thankful for school, everything is going okay so far,
Im thankful for having a job, so that i can pay expenses, and have money left to spend
Im just so thankful for so many things, i cant even name them all. Im just thankful that god is blessing me with having all those things, being able to see, hear, taste, touch, and smell.

TEACHERS AT THE CENTER
The teachers at the center are just as bad as the parents. When are they going to realize that the parents are barely home with their own children. The parents send them to daycare without a hug, a kiss, or an "i'll see you later". Just because the children are young doesnt mean they dont fell lonely, it doesn't mean they dont feel sad, they have more sense then we think they have. So when they come to the daycare, they are looking for something different then what they have at home. But what do the teachers do? They ignore those facts, they talk about them to their other employee's, about how dirty they are, how trifling the parents are, and so on, some of the teachers are bold enough to talk about the parents in front of the child. I do not like it. Whenever i catch a teacher doing that, i immediately tell them what they are doing wrong and remind them of the policy. And then they correct themselves. We dont need teachers to be like that toward the children. Not only the teachers at the daycare but teachers everywhere. It's not our job to judge these children or put them down. It's our job to teach them, help them succeed and become better people than their parents. It's our natural duty.
PARENTS AT THE DAYCARE CENTER
I've talked about my job before earlier in the blog. I work at a daycare. Out of all the parents at the center, I can say about 5 of them really care about how their child is doing at the center. But the majority of the parents dont care. They dont ask about their child. They have any and everyone come and try to pick their child up from the daycare, or off the bus. I barely see who the real parents are. It's very hard to communicate with them like that. It's sad. When all these parents act like that, it's harder to work with the children, and it makes it harder on the teacher. I just hope that nothing bad ever happens to the parents or the child becuase someone will be without a loved one and they will regret not spending the quality time with their children.
BAD PARENTS
What is up with these parents these days. Everyday i'm hearing about these parents neglecting their children. Saleing their children to men, killing these babies, just commiting all types of horrible things to their own and/or someone else's child. What is going on these days. Especially these young parents. Whay are they doing these things? I think its because their too young, their under educated, they dont want to be parents, they dont care or love their own children, have no respect for themeselves. Or they may be on drugs. They disgust me. If you dont want the baby, dont have sex, use protection, do the birth control. Parents who are like this shouldnt have the title "Parents". Do they really have that much low self-esteem, anger, and bitterness in their hearts to commit such acts. Children dont have a chance these days. Most of them never even make it to kindergarten. It's sad, and the government really needs to do something about these parents. It needs to come to and end.

Tuesday's Game Reflection
I forgot the name of the game already but...It was fun. At first i when it got started i was like this is boring and ridiculous. I didnt know what to do or what was the point. Then finally, the teacher told us what was going on and i was like cool, i dig this. So when everyone got split into groups i was excited about acting out a scene and thinking of a good story. I had a great story but we went with the other students story which was good. i just dont think as we were making up the story that it mad a whole lot of sense. When it as our turn to act it out i think it went terrible. The music was okay though. Im not blaming our group but maybe if i would have stepped up and said that something wasnt right then it probably would have been changed. Everybody else's group did so good though. They really made me laugh and i was entertained. The best one i like was Kyle's group he did so good at inpersonating Wendy. I just had to laugh becuase it was all true. Overall the game was fun and it made the class fun. My teacher is cool, i adore her because i can get my a good laugh every once in a while. I wish we could watch more movies though. Like we did with that one story "Where are you going, Where have you been?". (HINT)
One Hell of a Literature Book Story!! "The Case of the Lost Text Book"
Once upon a time. last Thursday in class i ended up leaving my English Literature book. How? I dont know. I found out that it was missing over the weekend when i was about to do some work. All i could think of was that it was gone and that i was going to be sick if i didnt find it because we do so much work out of it that it not possible for me to make up or do if i didnt have the book. I was praying and hoping that it would still be in the class Monday when i went and looked. Monday came about, I went into the class and it was gone. I was about to get mad, but my second thought was to go upstairs to see if anyone had turned it in. So i went and there it was. I was so happy. So yesterday, i took it out thinking that we where going to use it but instead we played a game that took up most of the class time. So i got my things and left after class untill later that day i discovered that it was missing again. I got pissed off and said to myself "not again". So i didnt get to overpissed about it. I just hoped and prayed that it was still there. So i went in today early to see if it was there and a class was in session. I didnt know but i just walked in and it was gone till i just respectfully interupted the class and asked if someone had found a blue literature text book. Yes....that one guy who thought"wow i got me a book" raised his hand honestly and gave me my book. I was like thank you so much. Man, i have to get this book glued to my hand or something becaused i'll be ******(you know what) if i lost this book again. So, thats the case about the Lost Text Book. The End...
Raking Party!
Saturday, my church had a raking party. You know? Raking leaves. Well, that's what my pastor called it "a party". Yeah a party for him because he didnt have to do any work. The church yard is 2.5 acres. It as a lot of leaves i know that much. All of our members came together and brought rakes, leaf blowers, garbage bags ect.. and we also brought food. We had one of our members dad to barbeque for us while we raked the yard. Everybody was there and we had a great time raking those leaves, we fellowshiped, and we ate of course. On top of that it was a beautiful day. It was from 9-5. Afer all that hard work, and fellowshipping, you best believe we were sore all over. The kids where jumping in the leaves. It was hard to believe that they did all that work, but they sure know how to have fun doing it. Im glad we had that event, i felt good about it and im pretty sure the pastor was happy for everyone to be out there helping out. Well the leaves got up and when we were done there were about 300 bags of leaves on the sidewalk. Those garbage men are gonna be mad when they have to pick it up. The good news is raking party's are fun the bad news is the leaves fall all over again. Wowww..

A Worn Path "POV"
REFLECT ON THE WAY POINT OF VIEW IS CHANGED, REINFORCED, IN THE MOVIE VERSION OF THIS STORY. ALSO THINK ABOUT WHAT IS GAINED AND/OR LOST IN THE TRANSLATION OF THE TEXT INTO A MOVIE.
I think the best part of seeing a movie that was translated from a book is being able to visualize every thing that you read in the movie. Putting characters into action, putting words into affect, and most of all bring pictures to life. When i read the book "A Worn Path" it was slightly hard for me to actually picture the things that where going on in Phoenix Jackson's head. For example, the hallucinations she was having; the way they were set up in the book you would have to plant the image in your head by the words that describe it but you wouldnt know exactly how it is really pictured. I got confused at times because at some areas in the story it was hard for me to picture what was going on. It was hard for me to understand her Social Economic Status. I could picture an old woman, but i couldnt picture how old, or how poor, or how lonely, or how tired and dirty and slow. The way the book described Phoenix Jackson put the image in my head because i can just think of an old women but in the movie i think it really gave me a good image of Phoenix Jackson and then i understood how old she was, and how tired she must have been. It was really sad that she had to walk so far to go her grandson's medicine.
The movie really gave me that sad feeling, feeling sorry for her, feeling fearful for her being alone and walking during that time and coming across people who could do anything to her and even get away with it.
The book was written in third person limited, but i think the point of view is changed up just a little in the movie. I think the point of view now can be from the audiences prospective from being able to viualize and judge the book from the movie, rather than just trying to understand and visualize what's going on just from reading the text. Now the audience will be able to reiterate what the story is, who the main characters are, and what is taking place about this story and reflect on it the way they saw it.
Little is lost from the text, but much is gained from the movie through visual and cognitive views of the story. So after reading everything and after watching "A Worn Path" put into film, i can say that i really enjoyed it. The movie gave me a great image and a great idea about what the story is about. I think hearing the author talk about her book and answer questions about her story really helped out.

8) I think that the aurthor is probably just relating to her. I don’t know why it is called a Rose for Emily.
